CLEAR THE AIR

In 2019 we coated 1100 T-Mobile billboards with a substance that literally scrubs pollution from the air. In the first year alone, these boards have done the work of 2600 trees, and on Arbor Day we'll unveil these ads to spread the word.

THE PHONE-CHARGING KITE

Beyond just telling people about T-Mobile's clean air efforts, we wanted to get others involved. So we turned the idea of a mobile charging station on its head and gave people the power to charge their phones by flying a kite. (Yes, it actually works.)

HOW IT WORKS

A weathervane kite fitted with a small turbine engine spins in the wind to generate power. The charge travels down to a phone plugged in at the base.

Kites are distributed from mobile trucks at festivals, 5K races, beaches, etc., for people to cast in the air and charge their phone.
